Revitalize Your Fitness Journey this Spring and Summer
“Hey guys, Rob here again. For those who don’t know me, I’m the owner and head coach here at Battle Fit, where my passion is to support you in becoming the best version of yourself through health, fitness, and coaching. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s dive into the blog post.”
As we transition into the vibrant seasons of spring and summer, it’s common to feel a bit sluggish after the winter months. Juggling work commitments while battling the darkness of early mornings and evenings can sap our motivation for outdoor activities, especially running.
Breaking the Cycle: Overcoming Fitness Plateaus and Rediscovering Your Motivation
The struggle is real – missing one workout can easily spiral into a cycle of inactivity, leading to a decline in fitness levels. Before we know it, we’re feeling less healthy, our mood takes a hit, and the spark in other areas of our lives begins to dim. If this sounds all too familiar, you’re not alone.
Embrace the Challenge: How Our Run N Trails Series Can Reignite Your Passion for Running and Boost Your Cardio Fitness
Now, I want to share some exciting news about our Run N Trails program. When I first conceptualized this initiative, I envisioned a series of progressive trail runs ranging from 5K to 20K. However, after careful reflection and listening to your valuable feedback, I’ve decided to make some tweaks to better serve our community.
So, what’s the big change? Drumroll, please… all our trail runs will now be approximately 10K in distance! Why the shift?
Well, I believe that 10K strikes the perfect balance – it’s challenging enough to enhance your running fitness, yet not too daunting for newcomers or those looking to push their limits without feeling overwhelmed.
My ultimate goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels empowered to lace up their shoes, hit the trails, and unleash their inner runner. After all, running isn’t just about fitness – it’s about camaraderie, shared experiences, and the sheer joy of exploring Cornwall’s breathtaking landscapes together.
Introducing Our Run N Trails 10K Series:
Our revamped program offers a series of exhilarating 10K routes designed to reignite your passion for running while exploring the stunning landscapes of Cornwall.
Let’s take a sneak peek at what’s in store:
Godolphin 10K: A blend of inland trails and road sections, including the challenge of Tregoning and Godolphin Hills.
Penrose 10K: Experience the beauty of the Penrose estate, Loe Bar Beach, and the mystical Loe Pool.
Porthleven 11K: An epic coastal adventure to Rinsey, with breathtaking views of historic Cornish mine works.
Cober Valley 10K: Traverse picturesque woodlands, bridges, and reverse valley trails in this scenic route.
Gunwolloe 10K: Explore charming villages, inland trails, and the rigorous coastal path back to Loe Bar Beach.
Great Flat Load 10K: Immerse yourself in Cornwall’s rich heritage as you run through the iconic Great Flat Load Mining Trails and capture memories at historic wheel houses.
So, what are you waiting for? Lace up those shoes, grab your water bottle, and let’s hit the trails – because with Battle Fit, every step is a victory!
But before you do read on to hear about Sally’s experience on the Run N Trails Penrose 10k.
A Milestone Achievement: Sally and Mabel’s First 10K Run at Penrose
Meet Sally, an avid runner with a passion for pushing boundaries and embracing new challenges. Yesterday marked a monumental milestone in Sally’s journey as she completed her very first 10K run – and she wasn’t alone. Joined by her faithful companion, Mabel, it was also Mabel’s debut 10K outing.
Together, they conquered the scenic trails of the Penrose estate and Loe Bar Beach, embodying the spirit of determination, camaraderie, and shared accomplishment. Let’s delve into Sally and Mabel’s inspiring story and celebrate their remarkable achievement.
I chose to join the 10k run on Sunday after starting my running journey alone for the past month – my first 5k was in Feb and the furthest I’ve ever run was 8k.
I felt like being with a team would really encourage me to get the run done, and I was right!
The Battlefit team made running through mud fun and the whole team was really behind me for the whole thing (not actually behind me), there was a real sense of community and everyone was so helpful.
I know most of the team already through other BF sessions, they were all aware this was my first 10k, so they put extra support into me and I felt amazing after!
I will 100% be at every Run N Trails going forward, I absolutely loved it! Mabel will of course be at every session too!
